It has been a little more than one year since I was invited to participate in a BJJ class with Sydney. I was a little shy, but he treated me like family and I loved it! I was constantly running into Sydney while surfing or around the beach, and he always insisted that I return. I decided to return this time to a self defense class and I cannot explain how that changed my life. From that day, Sydney became a mentor, a teacher, a friend, and one of my favorite people. He helped me to trust in myself more, in my abilities. That has been a beautiful gift. I have a lot of love, admiration, and respect for this teacher.

The gym environment is fun but with a serious attitude toward training. The atmosphere is excellent for people just starting out.
